President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged the people of the Upper East Region to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the December 7th elections.

He says, Dr. Bawumia represents the hopes and aspirations of many Ghanaians as the nation approaches the elections, “I came here to give you an account of my stewardship, say hello for your support and also to urge you to seriously take into consideration the need for you to choose somebody to step into my shoes who is going to carry on the policies that we have enumerated that have brought relief and progress and development to our country,”.

He added, “This particular election is the simple one when you go to the polls on the ballot paper just look at number one you will see the elephant on number one you don’t have to go any further.”

He made these remarks, when he was addressing the Chiefs and people of the Upper East Region during his tour on Tuesday October 1, 2024.
