The leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen has urged Ghanaians to reject John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming election. He believes that during their time in power, neither made significant improvements for the Ghanaian people.

Mr. Kyerematen specifically criticized Mahama’s performance as president, leading to his defeat in the 2016 general elections. Similarly, he argued that Bawumia failed to effectively manage Ghana’s economy, despite it being a key campaign promise in 2016.

While speaking to drivers at the Konongo lorry terminal in the Ashanti Region, Alan Kyerematen emphasized that both Mahama and Bawumia have nothing new to offer and that voters should look elsewhere. He positioned himself as the alternative, saying he has the solution to Ghana’s problems.

As part of his 19-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, Alan Kyerematen will continue to spread this message and rally support for his Movement for Change.
