The Health Service Workers’ Union (HSWU) of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) has announced its agreement with government in reviewing their collective agreement.

“We informed you about some delays on the part of government in reviewing the Collective Agreement between the Health Services Workers’ Union of TUC (Ghana) and the Facilities and Agencies under the Ministry of Health”.

According to the Union, the agreement has been met and would be implemented soon.

The Union in a statement on Tuesday November 12, 2024, indicated that, the negotiation was concluded on Monday November 11, 2024.

“The above notwithstanding, we are happy to inform you that, as at yesterday, 11th November, 2024, the parties concluded the review and have reached some level of understanding on the existing Collective Agreement. It is our hope that same will be implemented as agreed”.

The Union has called on its leadership and members to monitor the implementation of the signed agreement for the benefit of all.
