Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police has reminded all political parties contesting in the 2024 December elections that defeat and victory will be the only two outcomes.

According to IGP Dampare, political parties especially the NDC and NPP who are the two favorites should prepare for defeat as they make plans for their victory parties.

Speaking to representatives of the various political parties on Thursday, November 21, 2024, IGP Dampare urged the political parties to remember that defeat is also possible and should be embraced when it comes.

“As you plan to celebrate your possible victory, plan to also celebrate your defeat or endure it, knowing that only one will win.”

“We are ready for the elections. We need your support to ensure that our plan works for the sake of Ghana,” Dr. George Akuffo Dampare added.
