The Gomoa East Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives have strongly dismissed allegations made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against their parliamentary candidate, Kojo Asemanyi, regarding a leaked audio recording.

Speaking during a press conference on Monday November 26, the NPP Gomoa East Constituency Organizer, Samuel Nyarko popularly known as Abass described the accusations as baseless, fabricated, and a deliberate attempt by the NDC to tarnish the reputation of Kojo Asemanyi.

He claimed that the NDC manipulated the audio using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to piece together unrelated clips, falsely implicating the NPP candidate. Mr. Nyarko stated that the party is considering legal action against the NDC for this act.

He also urged constituents to remain calm and assured them that the NPP has delivered on its promises. He expressed confidence that Ghanaians would recognize the party’s efforts in the upcoming December 7 elections.
