The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Asante Kotoko has appointed the legendary Malik Jabir as the club’s new Technical Director.
Malik Jabir, who is a former Asante Kotoko coach and player comes in to replace coach James Kwasi Appiah who is the manager of the Sudanese national team in the Technical Director role.
This decision comes days after the ICM relieved coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum of his role on the management committee.
“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of club legend and two-time CAF Champions League winner, Malik Jabir as the new technical director for the club.”
“Coach James Kwasi Appiah who recently held the position will remain as a member of the club’s management team,” part of Asante Kotoko’s statement read.
