Mr Joseph Yamin, National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress has refuted claims as reported on myjoyonline that he has been locked up at the NDC Ashanti Regional party office.

According to him ,the intended press conference organized by himself and his team was not abruptly disrupted by a group of angry youth midway through the event but the group was only demanding action and not a press conference.

According to the report, the supposed young men stormed the venue, visibly upset, and confronted Mr. Yamin and his team, accusing them of inciting tensions ahead of the elections.

The National Organizer indicated, the young men who stormed the venue during the press conference were party taskforce members who wanted authorities to take action.
