The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy has called on all Ghanaians to halt their celebrations and remain vigilant.

According to him, this is the time for all supporters and sympathizers of their party to play their role.

In a brief press conference at their party headquarters he said, “You have voted, your votes have been counted now you have the responsibility to protect those votes. This new stage of constituency collation is of utmost importance to all of us and our leader wants all of us to stop the jubilation”.

He advised that until the results are collated and declared at the various collation centers, result forms at the various collation centers duly filled and signed by the various party collation agents no one should jubilate.

“We have intel that the NPP has now activated their rigging machinery to its full potential in the next couple of minutes and they have already started they will be engaging and trying to snatch and swap ballot boxes to manage the outcome of the election results” he added.

He cautioned party supporters and members to remain calm and vigilant until the final results are announced.
