Go to the Collation Center to protect your votes – Dennis Miracles Aboagye to NPP supporters

A clarion call has been sent to all NPP supporters to wake up from their slumber and march to their respective constituency collation centers. This call, which was made by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the NPP Campaign, comes after the NDC announced earlier in a press briefing calling on their supporters to go to collation centers and protect the election officers.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, during the NPP’s 4th Press Briefing described as preposterous the NDC’s call saying it is symptomatic of a losing team. “The NDC knows they are losing the elections and that is why they are calling their supporters to cause havoc”, Mr. Aboagye intoned during the press briefing.

He said the NDC “knows they are nowhere close to victory” and that’s why they are adopting old tactics in an attempt to court public sympathy for their impending loss.

He described the call as irresponsible and characteristic of a party that does not have the country’s democracy at heart.

It is imperative, he argued, for NPP supporters to swiftly move to their collation centres where results are being tabulated with the aim of safeguarding their votes.

Supporters, however, have been advised not to cause any commotion at the respective collation centres but rather retaliate when touched by any NDC member.

It is imperative, Mr. Miracles Aboagye, explained that the NPP’s call is to safeguard the sanctity of the electoral processes.
