National President of School Feeding Association confirms payment of arrears owed them

The National President of the School Feeding Caterers Association, Nana Amoah Otu Sekyi has stated that Caterers have started getting payments of monies owed them by government.

Confirming the payment after the Gender Minister promised to settle the debts, he indicated that some Caterers have been able to access their monies while others are yet to receive their payment.

GUTA President calls for urgent VAT reforms

“The Government honoured their promise and paid the debt on December 31, 2024 around 6:00 pm. Some of the Caterers successfully accessed their money on January 1, 2025 because some of the banks have their E- zwich machine outside while others couldn’t due to limited access to banking service in rural areas”.

I believe hopefully by today, January 2, 2024 others will receive their payment, he said.

However, the President noted that they are still looking forward to the 2019 outstanding debt to be settled.
