Renowned statesman and Council of State member, Sam Okudzeto, has expressed his admiration for the leadership efforts of the current administration while emphasizing the need for continuity and national unity in governance.

Sam Okudzeto acknowledged the positive strides made in decentralization and infrastructure development, particularly the improvements in judicial infrastructure and efforts to ensure that appeal cases can be heard in regional courts rather than being centralized in Accra. He described these developments as significant milestones that have eased the judicial process and brought justice closer to the people.

He stressed the importance of giving credit where due while acknowledging the necessity for constructive criticism when required. Okudzeto stressed that governance is a continuous process, drawing parallels with historical empires where successive leaders built upon the foundations laid by their predecessors. He argued that no nation can be built overnight and called for future leaders to build on existing achievements rather than dismantle previous efforts for the sake of political rivalry.

He expressed well wishes for the incoming administration of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama. He noted his personal connection to Mahama, referring to him as a nephew, and expressed hope that Mahama would focus on national development during his four-year term. He urged Ghanaians to support the new administration for the collective progress of the nation, regardless of political affiliations.
