President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to appointing all members of his cabinet within fourteen (14) days.
Speaking during a special National Muslims prayer and thanksgiving service held at the National Mosque in Kanda, Accra President Mahama made the announcement while condemning some illegal actions by party members such as looting goods and occupying government offices.
“I call on all our supporters and other persons who are involved in illegal actions, such as looting goods and occupying government offices and installations to desist from doing this”.
According to President Mahama such actions are uncalled for and must be condemned.
“We must do things differently to maintain the trust and confidence that Ghanaians have reposed in us”.
He added that, “the government is being formed and ministers would be appointed together with other officials. As I promised we will have our full cabinet within 14 days and so we will have ministers in charge. Let’s exercise restraint”.
