To ensure the accuracy and integrity of government payroll records, the Office of the President has directed all heads of government institutions to provide detailed information on staff members added to the payroll since December 7, 2024.

In a letter issued by Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, this directive, part of ongoing transparency and accountability efforts under the John Mahama administration, requires heads of institutions to submit the full name, designation, employee identification number (if applicable), date of appointment, and date added to the payroll for each affected staff member.

The requested information must be submitted to the Office of the President by January 31, 2025.

The directive underscores the importance of accurate data in safeguarding the integrity of the government’s payroll system.

Institutions were assured that any questions or requests for clarification regarding the directive could be addressed by contacting the Office of the President.
