The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has suspended four Members of Parliament over their involvement in the scuffle that happened in Parliament on the night of Thursday, January 30, 2025.
The vetting of presidential nominations on Thursday ended very chaotic as some MPs were captured on tape destroying microphones and tables.
The Speaker in reaction to this disturbing news has suspended four MPs who were actively involved in the incident from parliamentary duties for two weeks.

Majority and Minority Chief Whips, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor and Frank Annoh-Dompreh have been suspended together with Alhassan Tampuli and Jerry Ahmed Shaib.
