The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has questioned the government’s establishment of an oral committee, suggesting it was set up as a mechanism for political persecution.

Addressing journalists at its headquarters in Accra the New Patriotic party’s (NPP) National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye criticized President John Dramani Mahama for failing to uphold his promise of transparency, accountability and justice by holding state officials accountable.

Nana Boakye accused the Mahama administration of ignoring the law and allowing the OSP to target political opponents unfairly.

He argued that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) did not promise such actions to Ghanaians and emphasized that the current situation is a deterioration rather than the reset that Mahama had promised.

“Based on the experience so far, the reset President Mahama promised is a deterioration. Ghana needs an upgrade, not just the aggressive reset we are experiencing only a month into President Mahama’s government.

He invited all Ghanaians to join the effort to hold the Mahama government strictly accountable for its actions.
