The excitement at the 2025 National Basketball Invitational has reached fever pitch as the finalists have been decided! Spintex Knights and ABC Fighters will go head-to-head in what promises to be an electrifying championship showdown on the second day of the tournament, Sunday, 23rd February 2025, at the Aviation Social Centre.

Semifinal Recap:
– Spintex Knights (Ghana) secured their spot in the finals after a hard-fought victory over Cold Store (Ghana) with a final score of 69-62. The Knights showcased their championship pedigree, leveraging their experience and teamwork to edge out a determined Cold Store side.

– ABC Fighters (Côte d’Ivoire) continued their dominant run, defeating Elan Coton BBC (Benin) 66-58 in a thrilling semifinal clash. The Ivorian giants demonstrated why they are one of West Africa’s most decorated teams, combining skill, strategy, and resilience to advance to the finals.

The Stage is Set:
The finals will feature a clash of titans as Spintex Knights, the back-to-back champions of the Accra Basketball League, take on ABC Fighters, the 19-time national champions of Côte d’Ivoire and FIBA Africa Cup winners. Both teams bring a wealth of talent, experience, and a hunger for victory, making this a must-watch encounter for basketball fans across the region.

Spintex Knights and ABC Fighters faced off in the West Division Group Phase of the FIBA Africa Champions Clubs ROAD TO B.A.L 2025. The match was a significant one for both teams, with Spintex Knights securing a spot in the Elite 16 despite a defeat to the Ivorian giants.
