The Ghana Education Service (GES) has mandated that staff whose appointments and recruitments were recently revoked must validate and reinstate their recruitment by March 14, 2025.

This initiative is part of efforts to update and streamline the GES staff payroll database.

In a letter dated March 5, 2025, GES referred to an earlier communication from February 17, 2025, regarding the revocation of appointments.

Affected staff are required to undergo a validation process supervised by a three-member committee consisting of the Regional Human Resource Officer, Regional Internal Auditor, and Regional Accountant.

To complete the validation, affected staff must submit the following documents:
1. Appointment Letter
2. Academic Certificate
3. Licensure Certificate
4. National Service Certificate

GES management has called on all affected staff to comply with this directive to ensure the successful completion of the validation process by March 14, 2025.

The letter, signed by Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, Acting Director-General of GES, stresses the importance of this exercise in maintaining an accurate and current payroll database.
