Managing Director of Precious Minerals Managing Company (PMMC), Sammy Gyamfi has shared his views on the soon to be presented 2025 Budget in parliament today.

Mr. Gyamfi premised his optimism on the ability of the NDC-administration to keep all promises made to Ghanaians. Speaking to happyghana.com, he explained that the NDC administration is bringing about a sustainable framework which will employ policies that will focus on channeling government’s expenditure to critical areas to help the growth of Ghana’s economy.

He made reference to promises made by the NDC-administration including the scrapping off of levies – including the COVID levy and the highly controversial betting tax which were promised to be scrapped off by President Mahama in 2024.

He urged Ghanaians to be expectant of other frameworks that will aid in creating jobs and easing the hardship of Ghanaians. “We think through our promises well and we make promises we know that we can implement. John Mahama will make the difference today and the promises he made which he will be keeping in this budget today, will ease hardships and will ease our sufferings and provide us with the right path we need as a people.” he said.

Ghana’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson will present the 2025 Budget before parliament today. Many Ghanaians are anticipating economic reforms that will champion sustainable living and job creation nationwide.
