School bus tragically kills two people after losing control at Patasi

A tragic accident occurred at Patasi in Kumasi when a school bus lost control and ran over two people, resulting in their deaths.

The victims, identified as 74-year-old Maame Serwaa and a man named Alfred, believed to be in his late 40s, were chatting in front of a building when the incident happened.

Another person sustained critical injuries.

The bus driver claimed the accident was caused by brake failure, which also led to property damage.

Police and fire service personnel worked to free the victims trapped under the vehicle.

The injured individual is receiving treatment at the Suntreso Government Hospital, while the driver is assisting the police with their investigations.
