
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has carried out a significant reshuffle of its top officials, with multiple Programme Managers and Deputy Directors reassigned across the country.
The reassignments, effective May 19, 2025, were announced in a notice signed by the acting Director-General, Prof. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea.
The notice indicated that the reshuffle is part of ongoing efforts to enhance leadership and improve service delivery within the health sector.
“You are therefore requested to supervise the proper handing over and release the Managers and Deputy Directors concerned to their new stations by the given date and communicate dates of assumption of duty to this office” parts of the statement read.
