As President John Dramani Mahama prepares to address the nation today, May 7 at 8:30PM to mark his “120 Days Social Contract,” the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched a politically charged campaign titled “120 Bitter Days of John Dramani Mahama.”

The campaign, unveiled in an artwork posted by NPP National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye on his official Facebook page, uses bold red, yellow, and green colors and features a map of Ghana embedded in the number “120.”

The message appears to be a direct counter-narrative to Mahama’s anticipated address, which is expected to highlight his achievements and commitments.

The NPP’s post suggests that the party views Mahama’s recent political activities as marked by failure, misdirection, or unfulfilled promises branding them as “bitter days” for Ghanaians.

Although the NPP has yet to announce a start date or provide full details of its “120 Bitter Days of John Dramani Mahama” Campaign. The timing of the artwork’s release indicates an attempt to shape public opinion ahead of the address and to challenge Mahama’s credibility as President.

Ghanaians now await both Mahama’s address and further clarification from the NPP on when and how their critical campaign will unfold
