With the game nearly ending goalless, Joseph Opoku’s opoku last minute goal proved to be the decider as the Ghanaian cruised to a slim margin victory to advance to the next stage.
The Young Terenga Lions of Senegal also picked up the second place spot in Group C with 4 points after beating DR Congo 2-0 in their final group game.
DR Congo on the other hand will have to wait for a place in the third best placed teams after accumulating 4 points after 3 games.
