The Ministry of the Interior has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent recruitment message currently circulating on social media, which falsely claims to offer enlistment opportunities into Ghana’s Security Services.

In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the Ministry clarified that it has not authorised any recruitment exercise involving a so-called “Data Gathering Form,” which is being promoted with a suspicious link and a submission deadline of June 10, 2025.

According to the Ministry, no individual, group, or third-party platform has been permitted to conduct recruitment or collect personal data on its behalf. It further stressed that all official recruitment announcements for Ghana’s Security Services are made exclusively through the national dailies.

The public is also reminded that recruitment is never carried out via Google Forms or similar online platforms. Citizens are therefore urged to disregard the fraudulent message, avoid clicking on the link, and refrain from sharing any personal information.

The Ministry warned that engaging with such scams could expose individuals to identity theft, financial fraud, or other cyber-related crimes.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring transparency in all legitimate recruitment processes and encouraged anyone seeking accurate information to consult its official channels.
