The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for 132,393 prospective service personnel from 100 accredited tertiary institutions across Ghana.

This marks the beginning of the registration period for the 2025/2026 national service year, which runs from June 17 to July 1, 2025.

NSA emphasized that this year’s figures reflect improved data accuracy and transparency, following the implementation of more stringent verification processes.

As a result, total submissions dropped by an average of 26% compared to the previous three years, with a 36% reduction from the peak year of 2022/2023.

In total, 135,990 final-year students were submitted by 122 institutions.

However, 3,597 students from 22 unaccredited institutions were excluded.

According to the NSA, these institutions remain unrecognized by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), and graduates from these schools will not be mobilized unless the NSA receives valid accreditation documents within the next 30 days.

The Acting Director-General of the NSA, Felix Gyamfi, urged institutions with expired accreditation to regularize their status promptly to ensure seamless deployment for their graduates.

In addition to those submitted by accredited institutions, 908 PINs for private applicants including Ghanaians who studied abroad or deferred service in the past are currently pending verification.

These applicants are advised to contact NSA support if their codes remain inaccessible after June 24, 2025.

NSA urges all eligible candidates to complete their registration during the designated period and make use of available support to avoid any complications.
