The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold a crucial press conference on Thursday, July 3, 2025, to respond to the Electoral Commission’s (EC) recent press release concerning the re-run of elections in 19 polling stations within the Ablekuma North constituency.
The event, which will be held at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. The NPP’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, is expected to lead the address.
In a post on the party’s official Facebook page, the NPP described the upcoming press conference as “crucial,” signaling the party’s strong interest in clarifying its stance on the EC’s directive and addressing related electoral concerns.
The EC had earlier announced a re-run of elections in the said polling stations, prompting political discussions and public interest in the matter.
The NPP’s response is expected to outline the party’s position and possibly raise questions about the process leading to the EC’s decision.
