The Ghana Football Association has officially unveiled the full fixture list for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, providing fans and clubs with an exciting first look at the matchups that will shape the upcoming campaign.

Defending champions Gold Stars FC will begin their title defence at home, hosting Bechem United at the Duns Park in Bibiani. The season opener sets the stage for what is expected to be another thrilling chapter in Ghana’s top-flight football, as Gold Stars look to assert their dominance early on.

Accra Hearts of Oak, looking to rebound from a mixed 2024/25 campaign, will welcome newly promoted Hohoe United to the Accra Sports Stadium on Match Day 1. Meanwhile, arch-rivals and record winners, Asante Kotoko SC face a challenging opener on the road against Berekum Chelsea, as they aim to kick-start a strong title push.

The opening weekend is packed with drama, featuring tough away fixtures for former champions: Medeama SC travel to face Young Apostles, while FC Samartex are away to Vision FC. Premier League returnees Swedru All Blacks FC and Eleven Wonders FC will also start on the road, facing Nations FC and Basake Holy Stars, respectively.

2024/25 runners-up Heart of Lions open their campaign at home against Dreams FC, and Karela United will host Aduana FC in another closely matched fixture.

The first leg of Ghana’s biggest rivalry, Hearts of Oak vs. Asante Kotoko is set for Match Day 5 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the reverse fixture to be played on Match Day 22 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The Ashanti Derby between Nations FC and Asante Kotoko will unfold on Match Day 9 in Abrankese with the return leg scheduled for Match Day 26 in Kumasi.

In the Volta Region, the long-awaited Volta Derby makes its return after several years. Hohoe United will host Kpando Heart of Lions on Match Day 17, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Match Day 34, the final weekend of the season, in Kpando.
