On Saturday, August 9, Dr Bawumia visited President John Dramani Mahama to personally console him following the military helicopter crash that claimed eight lives. The gesture has been hailed as a powerful act of unity and statesmanship, mirroring the calm, non-divisive leadership style that defined Atta Mills’ presidency.
Political commentators, civil society actors, and ordinary citizens have lauded Dr Bawumia for maintaining a measured, considerate political posture even amid partisan divides.
