The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced a partnership with Buzstopboys, a volunteer group dedicated to environmental cleanliness, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Monday, August 25, the DVLA announced it will register all vehicles and motorcycles used by Buzstopboys in their operations free of charge. The Authority will also provide training for members of the group on the proper use of their equipment to help enhance road safety.

Buzstopboys, known for their community clean-up exercises and public education campaigns against indiscriminate littering, has been active in promoting environmentally friendly practices since its inception.

The DVLA said the collaboration demonstrates its commitment to supporting civic groups whose work aligns with national priorities on safety, sustainability, and environmental protection.

“The Authority believes that partnerships of this nature are important in building a sustainable and clean environment that is responsive to the needs of the citizens,” the DVLA stated.

This initiative adds to DVLA’s ongoing efforts to combine road safety measures with community-oriented development projects across the country.
