The Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, will arrive in Ghana to host the Women Allying Women Conference in Cape Coast on September 4, 2025.

The event is being held as part of activities marking the annual Fetu Festival celebrated by the people of Ghana’s Central Region.

As the founder of this transformative initiative, Olori Atuwatse III is committed to creating a platform that unites women across industries, generations and borders.

According to her, the conference is not merely ceremonial but a firm commitment to empowering African women.

“Africa’s future will not be outsourced. It will be built by its women,” she declared ahead of the gathering.

The conference reflects Her Majesty’s dedication to education, entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment.

Her work has consistently emphasised placing women at the heart of Africa’s transformation, equipping them with the skills, networks and courage to lead change in their communities.

This year’s Women Allying Women Conference promises more than speeches and networking.

Participants will have access to practical mentorship sessions, hands-on workshops and real investment opportunities for women-led businesses.

It will also serve as a cultural bridge, fostering stronger ties between Cape Coast and Warri, two regions with deep historical and cultural connections.

“The people of Cape Coast and every participant can expect a life-changing experience,” a spokesperson for the Royal Family said.

“We journey from the oil-rich waters of Warri to the ancestral shores of Cape Coast to stand with our sisters not as guests but as allies. May this conference mark the beginning of new alliances, bold enterprises and a generation of women who will shape Africa’s tomorrow.”

The Ghana edition of the Women Allying Women Conference, powered by Elevate Africa, will feature a lineup of influential speakers and panelists, including;

Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts of Ghana

Her Majesty Queen Wa Arian Simone, Village of Dawa Grand Bereby, Côte d’Ivoire

Ms Hayat Aschkar

Mrs Maame Efua Houadjeto, CEO, Ghana Tourism Authority

Other leading business executives and changemakers from across Africa

Olori Atuwatse III’s message is clear: the future of Africa is women-led and the time to act is now.
