In a vibrant celebration of academic achievement and youthful transition, Didi Shito, Ghana’s premium homemade-style pepper sauce brand, hosted a memorable Leavers’ Dinner for the graduating class of 2025 at St. Mary’s Senior High School.

The event brought together students from several top institutions, including Accra Academy, Wesley Grammar, and Sina Finance, marking the end of the WASSCE examinations for most senior high school students across the country.

Ewuraba Ekua Adusei, Marketing Director for Didi Shito, addressed the gathering with heartfelt congratulations and reflections on the journey of senior high school life. “For many of us, SHS was the first time we left home. It taught us independence, time management, and how to navigate social life. Today marks a transotion not just the end of exams but the beginning of adulthood,” she said.

The dinner also served as the official launch of Didi Shito’s newest product line, a rich, protein-packed version of the beloved Ghanaian condiment.

Adusei emphasized the brand’s commitment to preserving traditional recipes while embracing modern convenience.

“We’re bringing back the shito your mama made complete with herring, shrimp, and natural spices. It’s not just a sauce; it’s a heritage in a bottle,” she explained.

With shito being a staple across Ghanaian meals from waakye to banku and tilapia, Didi Shito aims to offer a consistent, flavorful experience that honours tradition while simplifying preparation. “We understand the stress of making shito at home, the ingredients, the time, the effort. Our product is designed to make that easier, without compromising taste,” Adusei added.

The event was a fusion of celebration and cultural pride, with students enjoying meals paired with the new Didi Shito blend. As Adusei noted, “About 50% of our consumers are students. It’s only right that we celebrate this milestone with them.”

The Leavers’ Dinner concluded with music, laughter, and a shared sense of accomplishment, leaving students inspired and Didi Shito firmly embedded in the memories of their final days in senior high school.
