Dr. Bawumia faces NPP vetting today ahead of 2026 Presidential Primaries

New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to appear before the party’s vetting committee today, September 23, as part of preparations for the 2026 presidential primary.

The vetting process aims to ensure aspirants meet party standards and comply with internal regulations. Dr. Bawumia, former Vice President, will present his leadership credentials and campaign vision under the theme “Win With Bawumia.”

Other aspirants are Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

The NPP presidential primaries are scheduled for January 31, 2026.
