Ottobi Entertainment, through its PlugHer Initiative, is proud to announce a powerful partnership with Y107.9FM in honor of International Girl Child Day and Pink October.

From October 6th to October 11th, Y107.9FM will air 5-minute audio features spotlighting the stories of five phenomenal women excelling in media, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Each story not only celebrates their achievements but also raises awareness on breast cancer, encouraging conversations around early detection and empowerment. Y107.9FM will further amplify the campaign by hosting the full interviews across its YouTube and social media platforms.

Emefa Deka, Project Lead for the PlugHer Initiative, shared her excitement about the collaboration:

“This campaign is about shining a light on women who are making a difference while also demystifying breast cancer and killing the fear that surrounds it. We are happy to partner with YFM to celebrate the Girl Child and empower women with hope and knowledge.”

For Ottobi Entertainment, this partnership represents more than just media exposure—it reflects a commitment to storytelling, advocacy, and meaningful community impact. By working with YFM, Ottobi Entertainment aims to ensure that the voices of these women reach young people across Ghana, inspiring the next generation to dream boldly while taking breast health seriously.

Together, Ottobi Entertainment and Y107.9FM are not only celebrating the brilliance of women but also raising life-saving awareness about breast cancer—reminding communities that early detection saves lives.

About PlugHer Initiative

The PlugHer Initiative, powered by Ottobi Entertainment, is a platform dedicated to celebrating women, amplifying conversations on issues that matter, and building impactful projects that empower society and shape culture.
