Ghana coach Otto Addo has unveiled his squad for the decisive World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros, welcoming back two key players from injury.

In a boost for the team, Leicester City’s dynamic winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and OGC Nice’s defender Alidu Seidu have been recalled. The duo were intentionally left out of the squad for September’s matches as a precautionary measure while they completed their rehabilitation. Issahaku has since made a spectacular return to action for his club, while Seidu has successfully recovered from a persistent knee issue.

Adding a new chapter to the story, Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu has received his first-ever national team call-up. This debut is a direct reward for his impressive and dominant performances in the Ghana Premier League.

The Black Stars are on the cusp of a fifth World Cup appearance, currently leading Group I with 19 points.

The final push begins on Wednesday, October 8th, against the Central African Republic in Meknes, before the team returns to a packed Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12th, to face Comoros in what promises to be a celebratory climax.
