The Deputy Minister for Defence, Enerst Brogya Genfi, has held a high-level meeting with the Mexican Ambassador to Ghana as part of efforts to deepen cooperation between the two countries.

They stressed the value of Ghana–Mexico cooperation in tackling global challenges such as peacekeeping, climate change and migration, noting that enhanced bilateral efforts would yield mutual benefits.

Brogya Genfi underscored Ghana’s strategic role as the gateway to the West African sub-region and welcomed Mexico’s interest in expanding its footprint in the area.

He expressed optimism that the meeting would open doors for broader collaboration across defence, economic, and cultural sectors.

The Deputy Minister thanked the Ambassador for the visit and reaffirmed Ghana’s readiness to work closely with Mexico to advance shared interests and strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two nations.
