DJ Carcious, the resident DJ for Y102.5FM’s flagship morning show, ‘Myd Morning Radio Show’ (MMRS), has been adjudged the Best DJ in the Ashanti Region at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

The talented DJ outperformed several contenders to earn the prestigious regional honour, solidifying his reputation as one of the most dynamic and influential DJs in the Ashanti entertainment space.

Reacting to his win, DJ Carcious expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters, crediting faith, teamwork, and community backing for his success.

“I’m deeply humbled and grateful to be crowned Best DJ in the Ashanti Region at the just ended Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2025. First, all glory to God for His grace and guidance. And to everyone who believed in me, shared my posts, encouraged me, and took time to vote, I appreciate you more than words can express. This award is not just mine; it belongs to all of us. This is only the beginning, let’s keep pushing, keep growing, and keep making the Ashanti Region proud. Thank you all. God bless you,” he wrote.

Programmes Manager for Y102.5FM, Nathaniel Osei Kuffuor, affectionately known as Mahony, commended DJ Carcious for his hard work, professionalism, and consistency.

“This achievement is a true reflection of DJ Carcious’ dedication and exceptional work behind the console. Every day, he brings energy, creativity, and technical mastery to MMRS, and the listeners feel it. We at YFM are extremely proud of him and believe this award will propel him to even greater heights,” Mahony stated.

The win cements DJ Carcious’ place as one of the region’s most impactful DJs and a strong force within the YFM brand.
