The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has launched the Ministry’s Online Digital Services Portal, marking a major step forward in Ghana’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.

A notice shared on the Facebook page of the Ministry said the new portal is designed to offer citizens quick, convenient, and secure access to a wide range of essential public services.

These include citizenship and migration services, security and regulatory services, as well as other specialized requests handled by the Interior Ministry.

Key services available on the platform include Immigrant Quota Permits, Renunciation of Citizenship, Dual Nationality and Citizenship applications, and other migration related processes.

The portal also hosts services such as the licensing of private security organizations, permits for importing or exporting explosives, arms and ammunition, and applications for the exportation of dead bodies.

According to the Ministry, digitalizing these services will significantly enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in service delivery.

It is also expected to strengthen data security and improve revenue assurance.

The initiative forms part of the government’s broader push to build a modern, secure, and inclusive digital economy, emphasizing the role of technology in improving public administration and service accessibility nationwide.
