Richard Ofori-  6
Was virtually on a holiday but had to be called on a couple of occasions to make some vital saves to keep a clean sheet.
Harrison Afful- 7
Hardly put a foot wrong. Had his passing on point and got forward quite well. Recovered well after bombing forward.
Lumor Agbenyenu- 7
A solid performance for him on his debut. Didn’t look overawed by the teeming crowd. marauded his flank with aplomb.
John Boye- 8
Often vilified. Hardly given plaudits for his hard work like he did today. Marshaled the rear bravely and capped it up with a beauty of a goal.
Daniel Amartey- 7.5
Ever-present in tackles and won the aerial duels with his imposing figure. Didn’t show any sign of rustiness as he showed a lot of composure and read the game the very well.
Thomas Partey- 6.5
Gradually setting himself as the engine-room of the Stars though today was not one of his best games for the Black Stars.
Ebenezer Ofori- 8.5
Stupendous is how his performance can be aptly described. His passing was simple and tidy. His energy level was tremendous and he capped a fine evening with a stunner.
Thomas Agyapong- 8
Another debutant who took the opportunity by the scruff of the neck. He bossed the left flank with sheer wizardry. He gave an assist for Gyan’s opener.
Andre Ayew- 6.5
Ghana’s deputy captain wasn’t at his best, at least by his lofty standards. Gave away possession too easily sometimes but showed glimpses of his quality. His usual tenacity and verve were however in full force.
Asamoah Gyan- 7.5
On target for his 50th international goal. Trademark. Le-Gyan-dary. Held up play very well and gave Dwamena a lot of space to operate. Showed some flashes of his foot-work. A decent performance.
Raphael Dwamena- 9 (Man-of-the-match)
Got a brace and an assist on his debut. Sensational. Got into good positions and predatory nature popped up with how he scraped through both goals.
Substitutes:
Afriyie Acquah – 3.5
Majeed Waris – 3.5
Jordan Ayew- 3.5
