The Ghana Football Association has sealed a new sponsorship partnership with TECNO Ghana aimed at driving technology and innovation into the country’s football development system.
The deal was formalised on Friday, May 29, 2026, at a public signing ceremony at the GFA headquarters in Accra, with TECNO Ghana announced as an Official Partner of the Association.

As part of the agreement, TECNO Ghana will provide 100 units of its flagship Camon 50 smartphone and 100 performance-tracking devices to support football development and improve player performance monitoring across the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, TECNO National Channel Manager Ernest Sonkor said the partnership aligns with the brand’s mission to use technology to create opportunities.
“At TECNO, we believe technology has the power to transform lives and create opportunities. Football is the passion of millions of Ghanaians, and through this partnership with the GFA, we are excited to contribute to the growth of the game while empowering players and coaches with the tools they need to compete at the highest level,” he said

The deal adds to GFA’s 2026 commercial push alongside betPawa and Kivo, as the Black Stars prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
