Gifty Anti, the wife of Oyekechire Ansah Kwaw, the Chief of Adumasa Traditional Area in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern region, said she got to know of it about a year ago.
The startling revelation comes after the outdooring of their first child nearly two weeks after birth.
The baby girl was named ‘Princess of Adumasa’ as earlier revealed by the couple. Her naming ceremony took place at Adumasa in the usual traditional customs.
In a post on Instagram, Gifty Anti noted: “And this is Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings. Ok here is the shocker for you all.
“I found out about a year ago that she is my relative. Yes she is. So she was there, from early in the morning till late afternoon to support us outdoor her granddaughter.”
