Dominic Eduah, Deputy to the National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revealed that his boss, Sammy Awuku has grabbed a new name as ‘unopposed’ in his quest to become the National Organizer of the party.
Dominic Eduah, said his boss has earned the accolade ‘Unopposed’ in his quest to annexed the National Organizer position of the party.
He says the accolade ‘unopposed’ being foisted on the National Youth marshal of the party has never happened in the history of the party.
According to him, the demeanor of the now Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Authority (YEA) earned him the accolade ‘unopposed.’
Mr. Eduah who is also seeking to move up the political ladder as the National Youth Organizer of the party made this revelation on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ afternoon socio-political programme hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
He said in the history of internal politicking, no single individual has earned the position on the basis of being unopposed. He says Mr. Awuku’s feat is a novelty in the party since the advent of the 1992 Constitution.
He explained that the decision for people not to contest for the position since the outspoken young politician announced his candidature is a payback for the role Mr. Awuku played in ensuring the party won the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.
