''Ignore Shatta Naija Bouhaha'' – Reggie Rockstone advises

Godfather of Hiplife, Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, popularly known as Reggie Rockstone, member of the VVIP music group, has advised that we should ignore the Beef between the self acclaimed ”Dance hall king” Shatta Wale and Nigerian artiste.
Shatta Wale had earlier reportedly stated that he does not regard Wizkid as Africa’s best artiste contrary to the perception most people have about him and that he was not moved by the fake jewellery the Nigerian artiste puts on and further indicated that the elder Ghanaian artistes including Tictac and VVIP who earlier introduced Ghanaian music to the Nigerians did not help the Music industry.
But the Grand papa Reggie Rockstone in a phone interview with ”Mercy Adom Buabeng ” [Mercy Bee] producer of ”Ayekoo” after drive show on Happy FM said
”I don’t want to encourage this issue because the more we encourage it, the more we fuel it so what I will say is that this is no issue. We should ignore it and be careful so that the devil will not ride on it. If we don’t want any trouble, then we should just take it as a normal showbiz issue because it’s said that our tongue has power so we should be careful to prevent the trouble makers from taking advantage of this using this because we and the Nigerians are all Africans.
“People on social media shouldn’t encourage it. We should stop it today because what is going on here we’re not even done solving them. We should concentrate on matters here and solve them and stop fighting the Nigerians.”
When asked of his take on Shatta wale claiming the senior industry players didn’t project Ghanaian industry well and didn’t help the industry, Reggie Rockstone responded, ”everybody is entitled to his opinion and I respect everybody’s opinion. Say whatever you like to say and make sure it is constructive. When you speak sense, everyone will understand. That’s all I have to say.
