The Deputy National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reminded Ghanaians to be wary of the actions of the sitting president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he is deeply romancing with gay right activists.
According to Joshua Akamba, the president is in a romance with some gay right activists who are pushing for the legalization of homosexuality.
He said the president himself has been giving them directives as how they should go about mounting pressure  on his government for the legalization of homosexuality.
He added that he has turned the  seat of government into a hub for romancing with gays from all walks of lifes.
Mr. Akamba made this statement on the Epa Hoa Daben show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
He noted that the president’s speech on Al Jazeera presupposes that he is lobbying the gay community to  start strong coalition in the country for the legalization of homosexuality in the country.
The president as a lawyer who should have known that Ghana’s culture frowns on homosexuality, rather  he is romancing with them to have the law passed to legalize their activities he said.
He maintained that if the NPP is man enough they should prepare a Bill to Parliament and present it to the Speaker Mike Ocquaye for legalization of homosexuality in the country.
The learned Prof. and Speaker  is patiently waiting for the NPP majority to present the said  Bill on the floors and we see what will happened in Parliament he said
