Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has confirmed that his outfit is yet to be informed on the Black Stars friendly game against South Africa next week.
The outspoken Sports Minister intimated on Happy FM Tuesday morning that the Ghana Football Association has not officially informed them on their friendly encounter with South Africa and that the only match the sports ministry is aware of is the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda on Friday.
“As a ministry, we have no idea of any friendly game with South Africa officially. We’ve sent a letter to them that at any point in time if they have a game, they should inform us before-hand so that we can also work towards that efficiently.” Nii Lante told Happy FM.
Nii Lante Vanderpuye further disclosed the measures his outfit will take should they get a late notification from the Ghana Football Association on the said match.
“I can’t say for now, but when they come forward with their proposal, we shall study it and know the step to take.” He said.
