Controversial Kumawood movie star Kwaku Manu is well known for his free of mind utterances in the entertainment industry.
However for sometime now he hasn’t been spotted in movies in this country. Kweku Manu, answering a question on if he has quit acting because we no longer see him in new movies stated that,“ I haven’t quit acting, I can’t quit acting”.
He further explained,” it’s our job so we can’t stop acting. Everyone has his God-given talent so let’s take the mechanic he uses his work to cater for the family as well as himself and if nothing comes in the way of his work let’s say traveling or another job opportunity then that will only mean he will still remain in Ghana and have no where to go. If he should stop working now, who will cater for his family?
Kweku Manu who owns a school in Kumasi added, “for now there’s a lot going on but I wouldn’t point any finger yet because of something and some authorities have been talking with me. Those in the industry we know of during our time, there are some people who might need help but God uses us to help and lift them or to be able to feed themselves as well as the family just the same way we will also be doing if in their shoes.”
Kwaku Manu, who is one of the finest comedians on the screens in our local Ghanaian movies detailed, “those whom God has used in helping has planned and turned against him because in the industry they pretend as if they are doing it but no so one has to leave the industry so they do it.”
Kweku Manu made this revelation to Jeffery Sintim koree Chaskele on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra hosted by Doctar Cann during the punchlines segment.
He finally concluded that, ” I wouldn’t mention any name for now. I can go on set twice. As humans, if you have clear conscience and a clean heart, God never forsakes but he you rather makes a way for you so for now I give thanks to God,”
