Mahama behaved like a foot soldier – Deputy Information Minister

Deputy Information Minister, Ama Dokua Asiamah Agyei has launched a scathing attack on former president of Ghana, John Mahama over his comments that president Nana Akufo-Addo ‘Obinim sticker’ comments.
During the NDC’s ‘Unity Walk’ over the weekend at Wa, in the Upper East region, Mr Mahama claimed the “incompetence” of the current Akufo-Addo government was so bad that the president needed the trending “Obinim Sticker” to enable him deliver on his promises.
“The President and his government need an Obinim sticker to deliver on its promises.”
However, Mr Mahama has come under fire from a section of the populace who believe his utterances in recent times are unbecoming of a former president who is expected to help elevate the political discourse in the country, as a statesman.
According to the Deputy Information Minister, Ama Dokua, Mahama’s comments reflects one of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) foot soldiers during an interview with Happy FM‘s Epa Hoa Daben show.
“Mahama behaved like a football soldier. If he knew there was ‘Obinim sticker’ and did not use some during the election,” Ama Dokua said on Happy FM.
“I’m not surprised he was called a dead goat during the dying embers of his time as president because if a former statesman could open his mouth and utter such comments, what name do you call him?
“Out of the past presidents of Ghana, I believe Mahama will be ranked as the last because he did nothing to improve the condition of Ghanaians.”
“He will forever be the worst president Ghana has had. If Mahama is using the word ‘super-incompetent’ on Nana Addo, then I will say he doesn’t understand that word, he doesn’t have the morale ground to call president Nana Akufo-Addo names because he doesn’t have a good track record.”
“Nana Addo prepared very well before he ascended on the throne unlike Mahama, who benefited from ex-president Attah Mills’ demise.”
