Most entertainment enthusiasts rallied behind Patapaa’s one corner song to win 2018 VGMAs Most Popular Song of The Year but then unexpected happened on April 14, 2018 inside Accra International Conference Centre.
The failure of Patapaa to win the Most Popular Song with ‘One Corner’ compelled him to accuse Charterhouse, organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, as well as the board that they’ve taken bribe from the winner – Fancy Gadam.
But according to Fancy Gadam who won Most Popular Song of The Year Award, his loyal fans did magic for him as they voted with their last coins.
Speaking with SVTV CHAT, Fancy Gadam said his loyal fans voted for him to win in the song of the year category with his song “Total Cheat.”
“Everybody deserves to win but it’s about numbers. It’s about votes and who has loyal fan base and the whole Ghana I’m the only one who has a loyal fan base”, Fancy Gadam revealed.
