The aspiring Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Archibald Cobbinah has said his decision to contest for the position is to challenge himself to building an ultra-modern regional party office for party activities.
‘It a disgrace that the NPP as a party that has been in government has no landed property it call as office for regional party activities am challenging myself that i will change this’ he stressed.
Mr. Cobbinah who is the current Regional Organizer and also the regional National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) gave this indication that there is lot he can do for the party and he has the track record as an organizer who led the party to victory in the 2016 elections.
Mr. Cobbinah made this comment in an one-on -one interview with Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Accra-based Happy FM.
He added that ” am not looking for political power to lord over the region but seeking the mandate of the delegates to strengthen the support base of the party’
He gave the assurance that under his stewardship as regional chairman a business development committee will be established to help development business people in the party who also support the party financially.
