I'm disappointed in Hearts of Oak PR Team – Yesu Bukarson

Former Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko Listowell Yesu Bukarson has expressed his disappointment in the public relations department of Accra Hearts of Oak for their failure to condemn its supporters for their barbaric behaviour in the wake of their week 9 clash against Bechem United.
In the aftermath of Hearts of Oak’s 1-1 draw with Bechem United last weekend, some irate fans of the club attacked the team, injuring the Administrative manager, Hackman Aidoo and Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo in the process.
The supporters who are clearly not pleased with the side’s performance in the ongoing campaign, ambushed the team’s bus after the game, threatening to beat the players and officials on board the bus.
The security personnel at the Baba Yara Stadium intervened on time to restore calm and prevent what could have been a bloody situation.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Bukarson raised concerns over their rivals silent demeanour on the disturbing case.
“Hearts of Oak PR department must by now issue a statement to condemn the act of their supporters at the Baba Yara Stadium when they played Bechem United,” Bukarson fumed on Happy FM.
“I’m highly disappointed that they haven’t done that by now, because their next game is against Kotoko which they know very well that they cannot win. So if against a mere Bechem United they couldn’t condemn their supporters act, how much then will they be able to control those violence against Kotoko”? He quizzed.
“It does not matter whether or not the head of the department Opare Addo was brutalized, still a statement should have been released by now. I will say without malice that, they have failed and I am disappointed in them, however it’s better late than never so they can go ahead and issue it,” he concluded.
