Owusu Bempah attributes Asante Kotoko problems to inept management

Top Ghanaian journalist Owusu Bempah has ascribed Asante Kotoko’s predicaments to poor management.
The Porcupine Warriors have been in the news for all the wrong reasons for sacking four top stars and transfer-list several others without a justifiable reason.
Top striker Saddick Adams and defender Seth Opare have been put on the transfer-list while striker Yakubu Mohammed and defender Edwin Tuffuor have been sacked.
Frank Sarfo Gyamfi and Eric Donkor have also been sensationally put on ice – a decision which has ruffled feathers in Kumasi.
Adams, a former Ghana youth star joined the Porcupine Warriors with a huge reputation but issues off-the-field have accounted for his exit from the club.
The timing of the exit of the key players has thrown the future of the club into further turmoil amid fears it could come back to haunt the club.
During an interview with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Bempah expressed his belief that sacking of players will not cease the club’s un-ending problems.
“Kotoko’s problem currently is not about transferring players but the problem is with the Management and I don’t think transferring players will solve the problems but it will deepen the woes of the team,” Bempah told Happy FM.
“Sacking of coaches is also another problem affecting the team which the management should have taken their time in taking those decisions”
“The remedy to Kotoko’s problem is that, the management must take a look at itself [management].”
“Kotoko management is the problem and amongst all the management in Kotoko, this is the worse management in the last two decades. They are worse in decision making.”
“The competent nature of the Kotoko management is also another problem because there is no direction in the running of Kotoko currently from the management level.”
“The administration of Kotoko is getting worse day in day out…Kotoko is going through reversal because the management have not learnt anything from their Predecessors and it is affecting the team,” he deduced.
