Ghanaian gospel musician Patience Nyarko has indicated that she will contest for mentor should TV3 opens up nomination.
In the aftermath of the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), gospel singer Patience Nyarko descended heavily on the award organizers after she lost Gospel Song of the Year Award to Joe Mettle.
The ‘Obi Nyane Me’ crooner opined that even TV3’s mentor is credible than the renowned VGMA Awards.
In reacting to Patience Nyarko’s claims, Communications head at Charterhouse, George Quaye sarcastically claimed that the gospel artiste should consider competing in the next edition of the famed TV3 Mentor reality show.
“I’ve accepted defeat, so I will go and contest for the mentor reality show, and will learn to correct my mistakes,” she told Dr Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra.
“The same way the VGMA and Charterhouse board, should learn from their mistake. Ghanaians are always complaining about VGMA, they must listen to advises.”
“This year the thing was not credible but I have decided to let it go.”
Patience Nyarko is currently embarking on a media thank you tour to appreciate Ghanaians for supporting her even though she lost to Joe Mettle.
